Job Title: QPR and Programs Coordinator
Organization: REDgen
Position Type: Part-Time (20 hours/week)
Work Arrangement: Hybrid – Remote, In-Office, and Statewide Travel
Compensation: $36,000 – $40,000 annually
Benefits: This position does not include health insurance.
Position Overview
REDgen is seeking a motivated and compassionate individual to serve as our QPR and Programs Coordinator. This part-time role is essential in advancing our mission of promoting mental health and resilience among youth. The Coordinator will focus on:
- Training Delivery: Leading QPR (Question, Persuade, Refer) suicide prevention trainings for peer leaders and advisors across REDgen’s member schools.
- Chapter Support & Administration: Managing logistics, communications, and resources that support REDgen chapters and programming.
This position requires collaboration with school staff and REDgen advisors to implement mental health initiatives and foster a culture of well-being.
Key Responsibilities
Training Coordination
- Plan, deliver, and evaluate in-person and virtual QPR trainings
- Serve as primary contact for scheduling and coordination
- Maintain training materials (manuals, videos, handouts)
- Track training outcomes and prepare data reports
- Secure training permissions and organize logistics
Program Administration
- Communicate regularly with REDgen advisors and chapters
- Assist with outreach and onboarding of new schools
- Support events such as REDgen Rally and REDgen Advisor Training Day
- Manage documentation, promotional materials, and website updates
- Contribute to fundraising and marketing efforts
- Represent REDgen at community events
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
- Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
- Strong written, verbal, and cross-cultural communication skills
- Familiarity with mental health resources
Preferred:
- Experience working with youth in education or mental health settings
- Background in coaching, counseling, or training
- Experience with QPR or similar programs

Reporting
This position reports to the Executive Director and plays a key role on REDgen’s leadership team, contributing to the organization’s strategic direction and mission delivery.
