2025 Event Recap
THANK YOU TO ALL OF OUR ATTENDEES!
On Wednesday, April 30th, REDgen hosted its first annual Art of Resilience, a visual reflection of the mental health journeys of our youth. The event was powerful and inspiring, with over 120 attendees coming together to view dozens of impactful student art pieces. Guests had the opportunity to connect with the young artists behind the works and hear directly from some of them about their personal mental health journeys.
The highlight of the evening came from our two young adult keynote speakers. Jenna, a former REDgen peer leader, shared how her experience with REDgen shaped her coping skills and provided her with the tools to improve her mental well-being during her first year of college. Ellis, an artist, described her painful journey of feeling silenced and shamed for speaking out about her mental health struggles.
These young individuals are brave and inspiring; their stories will help others on similar paths.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who attended and our generous sponsors. Your support made this event a success. With this year’s event selling out immediately, we are already planning for 2026!
Thank you to our event partner the Charles E. Kubly Foundation, and our sponsors, MIAD, The Greater Milwaukee Foundation, University School of Milwaukee, The Marcus Corporation and the David Barnett Gallery
