REDgen Presents
Using Neuroscience to Inform the Ways in Which We Parent
Tuesday, April 19
8:15-9:15 AM in the Richards School Great Hall
Current neuroscience provides a wealth of information regarding brain health and brain development. Dr. Michael Mazius, Child Clinical Psychologist, will discuss how we, as parents, early on, can develop areas of our child's brain responsible for problem solving, self-control and emotional regulation. Following a few simple guidelines, we can teach our children how to find and remain calm, think flexibly, develop organizational skill and inspire a genuine love for learning in and out of the classroom. Please make time in your schedule for this highly informative and useful conversation.
